The City of San Luis Welcomes Denny's


San Luis, Arizona — The City of San Luis hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for Denny’s Restaurant yesterday. Denny’s is one of America’s largest franchised restaurant chains, it has been serving other communities since 1953 and now they will be delighting the City of San Luis residents. As of June 29, 2016, Denny’s had 1,720 franchised, licensed, and company restaurants around the world.

The diner will be located at 1541 Main St., adjacent to Carl’s Jr., and will provide a 24 hour service. The restaurant’s construction will begin in September 2016 and will take approximately 4 months to be completed. The building is 4,500 sf, seating 176 people. It is expected that Denny’s Corporation will employ about 100 people including operations and construction personnel. Denny’s total investment will be of $2.2 million.

“I am very excited about Denny’s choosing the City of San Luis for its new location” said Mayor Sanchez, “Denny’s will create new jobs in addition to attracting more visitors thus enhancing our economy and city’s development” The City of San Luis keeps growing and it is expect that more commercial development to occur will this community, he added. This ceremony is the City of San Luis way of welcoming Denny’s to our community.
