The kids’ 3K/5K Fun Run-Walk event is organized and supported by the City of San Luis Parks and Recreation Department for elementary students from grades 1 to 6. Students interested in participating will need to register at his/her local school. The race will start and finish at Joe Orduño Park. To make sure kids are having fun, there will be different characters at specific points of the course.  There will be a brief awards ceremony at the conclusion of the race followed by an after party in the park were kids will have the opportunity to take a photo with their favorite characters.

Time:          8:00 am (pre-registration 7:00 am)

Location:     Joe Orduño Park, San Luis AZ

Registration:

  • Early Registration- March 14th  thru April 15th @ $4
  • Regular Registration- April 18th  thru April 30th @ $5
    • All participants must stop by the registration table to pick up their number

Suggestions:

  • Wear comfortable clothes and proper running shoes
  • Be colorful
  • Protect yourself – wear sunscreen!

School Principals, staff, and Parents are welcome to participate in the race free of charge, but only kids will receive a finishers’ medal.
